Self-confidence is the first requisite to great undertakings.
— Samuel Johnson

Confident children feel good about themselves.

They have the courage to try new things, the aspiration to always try their best and the self-respect to be proud of their accomplishments. Most important of all, confident children know how to cope with mistakes, fears and failures.

House Crew’s Confidence Clinic program is designed to help children develop self-esteem through the game of basketball.

Fusing basketball fundamental drills with mindfulness techniques, our goal is to empower children to:

BE RESILIENT
Find solutions during unfamiliar or tough situations

STAY PRESENT
Create a greater sense of mind-body connection that allows for more focus on the “now"

STAY AWARE
Judge their own performance and respond/react appropriately

FOCUS ON MOVEMENT
Develop fundamental movement skills that will drive participation and enhance self belief
